Catholic Bible 101

Since January 22, 1973, the issue of taking the life of a human being in his/her mother’s womb has been politicized by the Supreme Court of the United States. In a 5-4 decision that changed America forever, around 50 million Americans’ lives have been terminated before they ever began.  How were they terminated?  By being chopped up with a knife, by being vacuumed out of the womb, or poisoned with a saline solution.  To witness this abomination, click here. 

Is abortion in the Constitution?  How did the 5 justices arrive at this newly discovered “right” to choose?  They said that there was an implied “right to privacy” in the constitution, and this means that abortion is now a newly discovered American right.  Now that is a huge leap of logic.  There is no specified right to privacy in the Constitution, and there is no specified right to an abortion in the Constitution. So an implied right to privacy means it’s now OK to kill your baby in the womb.  And how does all of this square with the inalienable "right to life" that IS in the Constitution?  It seems to be ignored. 

All of this crazy logic occurred less than 10 years after “the pill” was marketed openly in the US.  The Pill, which keeps women from getting pregnant even if they have sex, separated the procreational aspects of sex from the pleasurable aspects of sex, something that God put together for a reason when he invented sex.  The pill thus became an escape mechanism for men to have recreational sex with women, a great tool indeed for horny males who only wanted to use women for their pleasure.  For some reason, women seemed to go along with the use of their bodies for male pleasure, but at a great risk. That risk would be venereal disease, which the pill never addressed.  Venereal disease is proof positive that recreational sex is not of God, but of the devil, who loves to give it to his unknowing servants on earth as a reward for their tomcatting around.

And when the pill fails, which it does from time to time, the next alternative to escape responsibility for fornication or adultery morphed into the killing of the innocent baby.  It seems that in every country where contraception became legal, abortion soon followed. Once sex became a sport instead of a way to sanctify one’s marriage, nothing would stand in the way of pleasure, even killing.  Pope Paul VI warned all of us of this in 1968, with his Humane Vitae encyclical, but he was severely chastised for this, even from his own Canadian bishops, and many earthy priests.  The grisly deaths of 50 million dead Americans testify to the horrors predicted by this great Pope.

Sadly, many women put their faith in the Supreme Court, rather than in the Supreme Being, God, who said in Exodus 20:13, “Thou shalt not kill”.

The Bible speaks several places in regards to the sanctity of the womb. Psalm 139:13 says:

 "For thou didst form my inward parts, thou didst knit me together in my mother's womb."

This verse explains that God is indeed creating humans in the womb, NOT just when we're born.

 In Jeremiah 1:5, God says:

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations."

This verse shows that God has a plan for us even before he creates us in the womb. For man to thwart God's plan through the killing of His creation is an abomination.

Similarly, God tells Isaiah that He formed him from the womb too:

Isaiah 44:24: Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: "I am the LORD, who made all things, who stretched out the heavens alone, who spread out the earth -- Who was with me?

In Luke 1:43-44, Elizabeth, the cousin of Mary says:

 “And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy."

Notice that Elizabeth called Mary a mother, even though she hadn't given birth to Jesus yet (He was still a "fetus"), and that John the Baptist leaped for joy upon hearing Mary's voice, which is quite a feat for an unviable tissue mass.

It is really sad that so many women kill their own children.  It would seem that the prophecy of Jesus has indeed come true in this age:

Luke 23: 29 “For behold, the days are coming when they will say, `Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never gave suck!”

America will pay a terrible price for all of these killings. Pharaoh (Exodus 1:22) and King Herod (Matthew 2:16) were rank amateurs at killing innocent children compared to our “Supreme” Court.  50 million dead babies is around half of the number of people killed in the twentieth century by Communist dictatorships!  How many of these 50 million humans would have become great presidents that could have led us out of war, or great inventors to solve the energy crisis, or great scientists to cure diseases, or great fathers and mothers who could have had the next president, inventor or scientist?  Sadly, we will never know.  The bible says that "we are made in the image and likeness of God" (Genesis 1:27).  The devil knows he can't get God, so he goes after us, who, after all, look like God.  And he goes after us from the moment of conception, not even bothering to wait for us to be born.  He so hates the image and likeness of God, who he wanted to be and couldn't, that he destroys this image, our children,  in the womb.

There is a gulf a million miles wide between Christians and abortionists.  Why?

Because Jesus said  - "This is my body, which is given for you".            

While the abortionist says - "This is my body, and it is mine to do with as I please."

God help us all if this slaughter is not stopped soon.  Pro choice is pro death. The Catholic Church is pro life. The horror of 9/11 was just a walk in park compared to what awaits America if we don't stop killing our own children.  The freedom to choose...The freedom to choose WHAT?  Life or death. As the bible says:

Deuteronomy 30:19: "I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live".
