21st Century Catholic Apologetics for Mary's Spiritual Warriors
The Blessed Virgin Mary said at Fatima that many souls in this world go to hell because there is no one to pray for them. She also said that more souls go to hell because of sins of the flesh than for any other reason. That was said in 1917, at the beginning of the Communist revolt in Russia. Now with internet pornography being so prevalent and easy to obtain, how much more true that must be today .
A lot of people in this world don't pray for anybody but themselves - "I want...", "I need...", "Please help ME...", etc. There isn't anything wrong with this, of course, but there is so much more to pray for in the world than for our personal needs.
Mary told the 3 children "Pray, pray a great deal, and make sacrifices for sinners, for many souls go to Hell because they have no one to sacrifice and pray for them." The purpose of this webpage is to get every one who reads it to start fulfilling Mary's request at Fatima to pray for sinners. There is no doubt that if Mary appeared to us individually now, that we would do what she says. But since she appeared to only 3 children in 1917, many people in this modern world ignore her request. The fact that all of her predictions came true is a sure sign that the Fatima message is real.
There are thousands of people in hell today who were here on earth last week, enjoying food, air conditioning, TV, fresh air, shopping, etc., just like we do today. Now, they would give up their entire life savings for just 5 minutes of being back here on earth, but it is too late. They are trapped forever in hell. And while it is too late for them, we can all try to help those still alive from falling into the same pit, including ourselves.
At the very least, with great humility and repentance for your own sins, please say 3 Hail Mary's every day for the sinners of the world. At the most, your daily rosary should include an intention for the salvation of souls, reparation for the sins of the world, and the reunion of all Christians, along with offering up sacrifices for sinners. Who knows? YOUR prayer may be the one thing that saves an individual or a group from the fires of Hell. And since God knows your prayer put them over the top, YOUR reward in heaven will be great.
Most of us will never be famous, or be a world leader, but we can be prayer warriors. And that is much better than being famous anyway! St. Padre Pio called his rosary "his weapon" against satan. And remember, your prayers have much greater power if you are in the state of grace, so go to confession often!
Another great reason to pray for others is that WE will be healed in the process, according to St. James:
James 5:16: Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects.
Of course, the #1 thing that we should all pray for constantly is that the name of Jesus should be glorified and made manifest throughout the world. Jesus means "God Saves", and we should all place His name and His glory over all of our needs on earth.
And the #2 thing we should all pray for is for us, our families, our friends, and our enemies as well, to NOT die without first receiving the sacraments. Many people die unexpectedly, and unless they are in the perfect state of grace, the outlook for their future is not heavenly. So let's all take a pledge TODAY to always pray that we will have a priest present at our deathbeds for one last confession, one last Holy Communion, and for the Last Rites of the Holy Catholic Church (with true contrition for our sins in our hearts, and forgiving everyone who ever hurt us, from our heart).

- When you are stuck in traffic, pray for the people stuck in traffic next to you.
- When you pass a hospital, pray for the persons in there.
- When you pass a senior citizens' retirement home, pray for the persons in there.
- When you see an ambulance go by, pray for the persons in that ambulance.
- When you pass a bar or strip club, pray for the people who are in there.
- When you hear someone cuss, pray for that person and praise God to counteract it.
- When you hear of a disaster on the news, pray for those people affected by it.
- When you see a TV show or movie that glorifies drinking and sex, pray for everyone connected with the making of that show, and for all who watch it.
- When you hear a politician say that abortion is good, pray for that person.
- When you hear of someone bragging about their sexual prowess, pray for that person.
- When you hear someone speak maliciously of another, pray for that person.
- When you hear of someone who died, immediately pray for his/her soul.
- When you hear someone tell a dirty joke, pray for that person.
- When you pass a cemetery, say the Prayer of St. Gertrude for the repose of their souls.
- When you see someone get angry, pray for that person.
- When you are around rich people, pray for their souls.
- When you hear of someone who is going to jail for some heinous crime, don't condemn him; pray for him instead.
- When you read or hear about some famous public sinner who is loved by the world for his horrible lifestyle, pray for him.
- When you pass by an abortion clinic, pray for everyone who goes in there.
- When you pass by a place that advertises fortune telling, pray for everyone who goes in there.
- When you are unjustly accused of something, pray for your accuser.
- When a non-Catholic says that you are going to hell if you don't leave the Catholic Church, pray for that person.
To make things simple, you can just say three Hail Mary's for all of the people trapped in the sins mentioned on this webpage. But remember, the more time you spend in prayer, and the more of your suffering you offer up for the poor souls and for poor sinners, the less time there is for satan to tempt you to sin, so pray often, from the heart. Praying from the mind is good, but satan has a much higher intellect than we do, and so he can thwart a lot of those prayers. That is why prayer from the heart has so much greater impact in the world, because satan doesn't have a heart!
